Pianist Jeffrey LaDeur will explore pianism and musicianship via excerpts from beloved piano quintets. These iconic works are often experienced by the young pianist for the first time on very little rehearsal, a daunting task considering the depth and variety of these masterpieces. This seminar will offer practical strategies to approach the preparation and performance of quintets by Schumann, Brahms, Dvorak, and Shostakovich. All are welcome!
